1 7 AMAZING PARTNERS (K554) Approaching the 300 Metres shifted out to obtain clear running and bumped LEGEND WINNER. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 1 MISTER DAPPER (H376) Sent for sampling post-race.
3 12 WITHALLMYFAITH (K428) Inside the 100 Metres became unbalanced when bumped by AMAZING PARTNERS which lay in.
4 11 RISING PHOENIX (J498) Jumped only fairly. Near the 150 Metres was bumped by HYMNBOOK.
5 9 HYMNBOOK (L238) On jumping was crowded between LEGEND WINNER and PRESTIGE GOOD which shifted in. Near the 150 Metres raced tight between RISING PHOENIX and LEGEND WINNER which shifted in slightly. Over the concluding stages brushed with RISING PHOENIX when that runner shifted out slightly.
6 6 SHANWAH (L123) Hampered approaching the 300 Metres.
7 3 WINDLORD (L184) Shifted in on jumping and was bumped. Had difficulty obtaining clear running between the 400 Metres and the 200 Metres.
8 4 ENDUED (K033) Over the final 350 Metres was held up for clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.
9 10 LEGEND WINNER (L032) As L Ferraris was unable to fulfil the engagement on LEGEND WINNER due to being overweight, R Kingscote was substituted as the rider of that horse. The explanation provided by Jockey Ferraris for his overweight was accepted. Hampered approaching the 300 Metres when bumped and taken wider. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
10 8 HAPPY TERCENTENARY (L185) Jumped only fairly. Hampered approaching the 300 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 2 PRESTIGE GOOD (K131) Apprentice H Y Yuen stated that from the outside barrier the instructions were to go forward. She said after shifting in on jumping and making contact with HYMNBOOK her mount did not show sufficient pace to do so despite being ridden along in the early stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 5 FLYING LUCK (J339) Jumped only fairly and then was bumped by WINDLORD which shifted in on jumping. J Moreira stated that his mount did not respond to his riding in the Home Straight and was somewhat disappointing. Trainer C Fownes advised that the horse had pleased him leading into the race and the only explanation he could offer was that FLYING LUCK was disadvantaged by settling back and having to make a run wider on the track. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
