1 8 MACANESE MASTER (J532) Approaching the 1150 Metres was bumped by DAILY TROPHY which shifted out. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 11 COLOURFUL WINNER (J312) Sent for sampling post-race.
3 9 SWAGGER BRO (K089) Had difficulty obtaining clear running in the early stages of the Home Straight and approaching the 200 Metres was shifted to the outside of VIVA CHALEUR to continue into clear running. Noted to have sustained a laceration to the right hip after the race.
4 7 CONRAD THE GREAT (K217) Trainer D J Whyte advised that he had instructed L Hewitson to have CONRAD THE GREAT ridden in a forward position from the inside barrier, however, he did not expect the horse to lead.
5 4 BULLISH PRIDE (K181) Jumped only fairly.
6 3 VIEW ALL THINGS (K101) Passing the 200 Metres was eased when SWAGGER BRO shifted out.
7 10 VIVA CHALEUR (G368) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Sent for sampling post-race.
8 6 SO MY FOLKS (K456) Shortly after the start was bumped by DAILY TROPHY which shifted in slightly.
9 12 QUICK MONEY (K377) Jumped only fairly.
10 1 ROBOT KNIGHT (H464) Apprentice P N Wong stated that the intention was to race in a forward position, however, despite riding her mount along in the early stages it did not show sufficient pace to do so. She added as a consequence ROBOT KNIGHT settled further back in the field than intended. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Apprentice P N Wong was reprimanded in relation to using her whip on a horse which was clearly out of contention.
11 5 DAILY TROPHY (H283) Shortly after the start shifted in and bumped SO MY FOLKS. K Teetan reported that his mount lay out making the turn approaching the 600 Metres and failed to stretch out when placed under pressure in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 2 TURBO JEFFERIES (L328) Jumped only fairly. H Bentley reported that whilst his mount raced in a more forward position he was able to do so without having to make use of TURBO JEFFERIES in the early stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
