7 E488  PERFECT PEACH  09/11/2025   160  PERFECT PEACH (E488) jumped only fairly. Rider could offer no excuse for the horse’s failure to run on in the Home Straight. Trainer stated that the horse had pleased him leading into the event but advised the horse was a little stirred up prior to the start of the race. He added also, in his opinion, the horse does not appreciate racing in amongst other horses and that may have contributed to the horse’s disappointing performance. After the race was examined by the vet who said an endoscopic exam showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Performance was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 160.
8 H403  RUN RUN TIMING  21/01/2026   366  RUN RUN TIMING (H403) shifted out near the 400M and was bumped. Rider stated that the intention was to hold a more forward position, but his mount settled further back after jumping only fairly and being crowded shortly after the start - Race 366.
9 H234  MEEPMEEP  18/01/2026   354  MEEPMEEP (H234) rider stated that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and did not finish the race off in the Home Straight. After the race was examined by the vet who found that horse to be lame in its right front leg. Has since passed an official vet exam - Race 354.
10 J269  DRAGON SUNRISE  01/01/2026   303  DRAGON SUNRISE (J269) bumped on jumping. Over the final 200M raced tight – Race 303.
11 J179  EVER SMART  14/01/2026   345  EVER SMART (J179) in the early and middle stages raced keenly and near the 900M and again near the 600M was steadied. When questioned rider stated that as the start was effected his mount stood flat-footed and despite his efforts to have the horse jump with the field it did not respond and as a consequence lost ground at the start. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a stalls test. When questioned regarding his riding in the Home Straight rider stated that when being ridden out his mount lay in and as a result proved difficult to ride. He added as a consequence he was obliged to place pressure to his left rein at various stages in the Home Straight to ensure that his mount maintained its position with clear running – Race 345.
12 H027  STRONGEST BOY  28/01/2026   386  STRONGEST BOY (H027) from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Passing the 1500M improved to the inside of a runner and was steadied to avoid that runner. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings – Race 386.
