A short distance later was crowded and again made contact with that runner. Over the concluding stages had difficulty obtaining clear running - Race 485.
2 K094  NEW FOREST  01/03/2026   485  NEW FOREST (K094) rider stated that his mount jumped only fairly and when the pace of the event was run inside of standard time in the early stages he elected to take a position with cover. He added that the horse failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight and, in his opinion, is better suited on the All Weather surface. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 485.

Rider stated that his mount ran inside standard time in the early and middle stages when racing keenly in the lead. He added as a result his mount was unable to finish the race off in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 544.
6 H338  MUGEN  22/03/2026   544  MUGEN (H338) jumped awkwardly. In the early stages of the Home Straight lay in when being shifted out. Rider stated that after settling back in the field his mount found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight from that position. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 544.
7 K161  LO RIDER  04/01/2026   320  LO RIDER (K161) had difficulty obtaining clear running approaching the 200M - Race 320.
8 K061  SIX PACK  22/03/2026   544  SIX PACK (K061) prior to declaring weighed-in Trainer and rider viewed the patrol films to ascertain if there were grounds for a protest/objection against the runner being declared the winner. When connections declined to lodge a protest/objection and the Stewards were satisfied that the contact between the horse and the declared winner near the 100M was principally due to the horse shifting ground and having regard to the manner in which both horses finished the race off, they declined to lodge a protest/objection and weighed-in was declared on the numbers semaphored by the Judge - Race 544.
9 J263  STEPS AHEAD  22/03/2026   544  STEPS AHEAD (J263) near the 150M was eased when bumped. Rider stated that the intention was to go forward but obtain cover if possible. He said when unable to obtain cover he was obliged to race outside the leader where his mount gave ground under pressure in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 544.
