4 K364  CALIFORNIA BAY  20/12/2025   278  CALIFORNIA BAY (K364) rider reported that with the early and middle stages of the event being run inside of standard time his mount did not appreciate being taken on by a runner in the early stages. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings – Race 278.
5 K162  RAGGA BOMB  23/12/2025   286  RAGGA BOMB (K162) bumped on jumping. When questioned rider stated that his instructions were to hold an on-pace position and obtain cover if possible. He said after complying with his instructions in the early stages to hold an on-pace position his mount then improved to the lead leaving the 1400M. He stated when a runner improved to his outside he was content to allow that runner to cross but when his mount raced a little keenly that resulted in the horse holding the lead. He added entering the Back Straight he applied further restraint to his mount to reduce the pace of the event, however, in retrospect he agreed with the Stewards that he had steadied the pace too quickly which resulted in a number of runners positioned behind him sustaining interference. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 286.
6 L102  GENERAL REDWOOD  07/01/2026   329  GENERAL REDWOOD (L102) bumped near the 300M - Race 329.
7 K247  KA YING GLORY  07/01/2026   327  KA YING GLORY (K247) rider stated that his mount hung out badly throughout the event and as a result he was unable to ride the horse in a competitive manner. After the race was reported to be a “roarer” which had previously been reported. Finished tailed out, performance and barrier manners were considered unacceptable. Has since performed satisfactorily in a barrier trial around a bend in Hong Kong and passed an official vet exam - Race 327.
8 K530  LUCK SMILES  04/01/2026   319  LUCK SMILES (K530) raced greenly when placed under pressure in the Home Straight and was held up for clear running over the final 100M - Race 319.
9 H472  MATSU VICTOR  07/01/2026   327  MATSU VICTOR (H472) rider could offer no real excuse for the performance other than the horse did not appear to be comfortable racing in amongst other horses. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 327.
