He said throughout the early stages his mount was reluctant to hold its position to the inside of other runners and approaching the first turn near the 900M he was obliged to severely check his mount when his mount shifted out when reluctant to hold its position to the inside of a runner which shifted in slightly. He added that as a consequence his mount lost significant ground and did not finish the race off thereafter. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Racing manners were considered unacceptable. Has since performed satisfactorily in a barrier trial around a bend in Hong Kong from an inside barrier. Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race - Race 277.
