Rider stated that his mount did not fully stretch out during the running of the race and he had some concern with its action when he placed his mount under pressure in the Home Straight. Trainer advised that the horse had pleased him leading into the race but, in his opinion, would be better suited with a race being run with a more genuine pace. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. The performance was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 402.
