He said whilst his mount commenced well it did not show sufficient pace in the early stages to do so and as a consequence settled back in the field. He added that with the early stages of the event being run outside of standard time his mount finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 221.

Trainer confirmed the instructions and said he issued those instructions as the horse did not finish the race off when it led at its last race start on 17 December 2025. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 329.

Trainer stated that the horse may not have been suited by being ridden in a forward position and at its next start he will instruct the rider to ride the horse in a more conservative manner. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 232.
