He said as a consequence that resulted in the early stages being run inside of standard time and the horse not being able to finish the race off in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 343.

When questioned rider stated that after entering the Home Straight he had difficulty obtaining clear running. He said leaving the 300M he endeavoured to improve into a narrow run between runners and he was obliged to check his mount passing the 200M when his mount did not respond sufficiently to his efforts to improve into the run. As a result it was not ridden out to the finish of the event. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings – Race 373.
5 J426  CORLEONE  07/01/2026   333  CORLEONE (J426) shifted out at the start and was bumped. Near the 350M was bumped and was bumped again near the 200M. When questioned rider stated that approaching the 500M his mount commenced to race keenly when a runner was unable to quicken. He said as a result he shifted to the outside of that runner and was then checked to avoid another runner when that runner did not improve into the race. He said as a consequence he was obliged to shift out and made contact with another runner - Race 333.

2 K490  FAMILY KNIGHT  23/11/2025   202  FAMILY KNIGHT (K490) after being loaded into the starting gates reared, resulting in the horse becoming cast when it got its left leg over the starting gate partition. Was examined by the vet who said the horse was not suitable to race and was withdrawn by order of the Stewards acting on vet advice. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Starter in barrier practice and to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 202.
