After the event, rider stated that the instructions were to take up a forward position but her mount did not show sufficient pace to cross runners to her inside so her mount raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. She added under pressure in the Home Straight her mount did not respond to her riding and did not fully stretch out. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 473.
