Racing Incident Report

After arriving at the Start, J Egan (GREAT EXPECTATION) requested the horse be examined by the Veterinary Surgeon. GREAT EXPECTATION was trotted up, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and after the necessary consultation GREAT EXPECTATION was passed suitable to race. After arriving at the barriers, SOUTH CHINA NINETY was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and after the necessary consultation it was passed suitable to race. SMILING FOREST jumped awkwardly and bumped the outside of its stall. NOBLE CHARGE was slowly away, then shortly afterwards was inconvenienced by SOUTH CHINA NINETY which shifted out abruptly. Shortly after the start, CHINA LEGEND was steadied when tightened for room between JOYFUL MASTER and SMILING FOREST which was racing tight inside TAMAR. In the early stages, GALLANT HORSE had a tendency to pull and got its head up. Near the 900 Metres, GALLANT HORSE and TAMAR bumped when racing tight inside GOOD FRIENDS which from a difficult gate had been obliged to race wide without any cover. About the 800 Metres, SOUTH CHINA NINETY became unbalanced when being steadied to avoid the heels of AFICIONADO which was taken in by LIGHTNING BOLT which hung in on the first turn. About the 500 Metres, JOYFUL MASTER shifted out and bumped ACE OF PACE. LIGHTNING BOLT was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing.
