Racing Incident Report
EL VIENTO left the gates very awkwardly, shifted in and bumped the hindquarters of EASY KING, then rounding the turn and in the Straight hung in. Approaching the 800 Metres, GLORY HERO became unbalanced when being steadied to avoid the heels of LUCKY TRIO (S Dye) which shifted in when only just clear. S Dye was reprimanded and told he must exercise far more care. Y T Cheng said at no stage of the race was EASY KING comfortable in today's track conditions, on several occasions became badly unbalanced. S Dye said at no stage of the race was LUCKY TRIO comfortable in today's track conditions and because of this did not show the potential the horse undoubtedly has. LUCKY TRIO was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing. After the race, it was reported WYNDAM EASY had lost its off side front plate.
