Racing Incident Report

ALL THE WINNERS was withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right hind). Before being allowed to race again, ALL THE WINNERS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Whilst in the saddling stalls, it was noted that BINGO KEY had lost its right front plate. This plate was refitted. BINGO KEY was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. After being loaded, MISTER HORSE became fractious, reared and got its left front leg over the adjoining partition for a considerable period of time. MISTER HORSE was removed from the barriers and examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was not suitable to race. Acting on this advice, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of MISTER HORSE. Before being allowed to race again, MISTER HORSE will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. NICE KING, which occupied the adjoining stall, was also removed from the barriers and examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. NAMJONG HUNTER lost ground at the start when crowded for room between SURE GOOD and ELITE FORTUNE, both of which shifted ground. For some distance approaching the 1000 Metres, NAMJONG HUNTER was awkwardly placed close to the heels of SURE GOOD. Over the final 100 Metres, GENERAL DANROAD shifted out under pressure. In the Straight, NICE KING got its head on the side and lay in. Throughout the race, POTENTIAL travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of NAMJONG HUNTER after the race did not show any significant findings. POTENTIAL, ELITE FORTUNE and TRAVEL KING were sent for sampling.
