Racing Incident Report
SHARP SAILOR was crowded for room on jumping between HIGH VOLATILITY and HO HO FEEL which shifted out.
From a wide barrier, RENAISSANCE ART was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
When being ridden hard in the early stages to obtain a forward position, HIGH VOLATILITY raced tight inside KING OF MONGOLIA for some distance passing the 1600 Metres. Then near the 1500 Metres, HIGH VOLATILITY and KING OF MONGOLIA bumped as KING OF MONGOLIA was steadied to obtain a position with cover.
Passing the winning post on the first occasion, HAPPY CONTENDER, which was being steadied in an attempt to obtain cover, was awkwardly placed outside the heels of HIGH VOLATILITY. HAPPY CONTENDER was subsequently left racing wide and without cover near the 1300 Metres.
Also passing the winning post on the first occasion, HO HO FEEL became unbalanced.
Making the turn near the 1000 Metres, HIGH VOLATILITY got its head on the side and lay out.
Near the 450 Metres, HAPPY CONTENDER was steadied when disappointed for running between KYRUS BOWSER and HIGH VOLATILITY which got its head on the side and shifted out away from HO HO FEEL as that horse shifted out from behind GO GO WIN.
Passing the 200 Metres, KYRUS BOWSER was crowded for room between KING OF MONGOLIA and SHARP SAILOR, both of which shifted a minimal amount of ground.
Passing the 50 Metres, SHARP SAILOR and KING OF MONGOLIA brushed.
A veterinary inspection of HIGH VOLATILITY, which gave ground after being ridden along for a considerable distance in the early stages to obtain a forward position, immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of HAPPY CONTENDER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
HO HO FEEL, SHARP SAILOR and KING OF MONGOLIA were sent for sampling.
