When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of BEAUTY SPIRIT, M Chadwick stated that up in grade today, BEAUTY SPIRIT was left racing wide and without cover near the 900 Metres. He said nonetheless he felt that BEAUTY SPIRIT was somewhat disappointing in today’s race as he was unable to prevent LIFELINE VISION from shifting out and taking BEAUTY SPIRIT wider near the 500 Metres. He said BEAUTY SPIRIT came under heavy pressure after this and then did not finish off the race. A veterinary inspection of BEAUTY SPIRIT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of CHEVALIER PRINCE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
MASTER DELIGHT and MALDIVES were sent for sampling.
