Racing Incident Report
QUORUM was slow to begin.
RUN RUN GOOD and ZACIAN bumped on jumping.
After travelling a short distance, POLARIS WINNER was crowded for room between FORTUNE MASTER and RUN RUN GOOD which was racing tight inside ZACIAN. In this incident, RUN RUN GOOD became unbalanced after being bumped by POLARIS WINNER.
Approaching the 1300 Metres, MANY WINS shifted in and brushed RUN RUN GOOD which again became unbalanced.
H T Mo (SPLENDID STAR) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 1050 Metres he permitted his mount to shift in when not clear of RUN RUN GOOD, resulting in that horse being crowded for room and losing the running to which it was rightfully entitled. POLARIS WINNER, which was racing to the inside of RUN RUN GOOD, was crowded for room in consequence. H T Mo was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence on Sunday, 6 November 2022 and to expire on Thursday, 10 November 2022 on which day he may resume race riding (2 Hong Kong racedays). In addition, Jockey Mo was fined $2,500.
Approaching the 1000 Metres, AURORA HERO was left racing wide and without cover and then in the Straight gave ground. A veterinary inspection of AURORA HERO immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils and sustained minor abrasions inside the right hock.
Near the 950 Metres, RUN RUN GOOD was crowded for room inside MANY WINS which got its head on the side and lay in before being directed back out to relieve the crowding. POLARIS WINNER, which was following, was inconvenienced in consequence.
Near the 750 Metres, POLARIS WINNER momentarily raced in restricted room inside RUN RUN GOOD which itself was racing tight inside AURORA HERO.
Approaching the 500 Metres, RUN RUN GOOD was steadied away from the heels of SPLENDID STAR. SUNNY BABY, which was following, was inconvenienced in consequence.
Passing the 400 Metres, ZACIAN was bumped by GOLDEN MISSION which was directed to the outside of CHIU CHOW BROTHER in an attempt to obtain clear running.
SUNNY BABY, EL JEFE and CHIU CHOW BROTHER were sent for sampling.
