Racing Incident Report

BULLETPROOF jumped awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with LA CITY BLANCHE.
PRECISE EXPRESS jumped awkwardly and then shortly afterwards was bumped by PRINCE ALEX which shifted out.
From the outside barrier, ALACRITY was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
ROMANTIC CHARM raced keenly in the early stages.
Near the 1300 Metres, PRINCE ALEX was eased to avoid ROMANTIC CHARM which shifted in.
Near the 200 Metres, SMILING TIME, which was commencing to finish off well, was steadied and shifted to the outside of ENJOYING to continue into clear running.
SUPERBELLA raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event and subsequently finished tailed out. The performance of SUPERBELLA was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, SUPERBELLA will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of LA CITY BLANCHE immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse’s trachea.
A veterinary inspection of SATIRICAL GLORY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
ALACRITY and YOUNG BRILLIANT were sent for sampling.
