4 3 PACKING SUCCEEDER (H038) Near the 100 Metres was bumped by DURHAM STAR which shifted in slightly. Sent for sampling post-race.

6 6 NINJA DERBY (H339) Jumped awkwardly.
7 9 MANAGEMENT FOLKS (E496) Jumped only fairly. Near the 300 Metres shifted out and made contact with CHATEAU. After the race, B Avdulla stated that after settling back in the field his mount ran on reasonably and, in his opinion, is looking for additional distance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
8 11 LITTLE FAIRY (H206) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Approaching the 400 Metres was steadied away from CONCERTO and shifted to that runner’s inside to secure clear running. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 5 GOLDEN BULL (H019) After the race, M Chadwick stated that the only excuse he could offer for his mount’s disappointing performance was that it was having its first run at Happy Valley today. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.
10 7 RIGHTEOUS DOCTRINE (C197) Crowded shortly after the start and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. K C Leung was spoken to in respect to using the whip on a horse which was out of contention. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 1 CHATEAU (H214) Jumped only fairly. Bumped near the 300 Metres.
12 10 HORSE OF GOOD LUCK (H160) No report.
