2 8 TURIN WARRIOR (G150) Lay out near the 200 Metres before being corrected by its rider. Then shifted in at the 150 Metres before being corrected. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 10 SURE JOYFUL (G125) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
4 6 FEARLESS FIRE (B085) Bumped at the start. Despite being ridden along in the early stages was unable to hold a more forward position.
5 2 PERFETTO (G198) No report.
6 4 LEGION OF MERIT (D419) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
7 1 JOYFUL FRIENDSHIP (H295) Blundered on jumping and became unbalanced. Near the 350 Metres was briefly held up behind FREE FOAL.
8 5 ATOMIC BEAUTY (H066) No report.
9 7 G LINER (H072) Jumped awkwardly and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners shortly after the start. In the early stages raced keenly and refused to settle. K C Leung was spoken to regarding using the whip on a horse which was out of contention.
10 3 FREE FOAL (E065) Near the 350 Metres endeavoured to improve into a narrow run between ATOMIC BEAUTY and BIG TWO where there was doubtful room. As a result, FREE FOAL was disappointed for clear running and badly held up until near the 250 Metres when it obtained a run to the inside of ATOMIC BEAUTY. L Ferraris was spoken to regarding using the whip on a horse which was out of contention.
11 9 PROUD DRAGON (E352) After the race, K Teetan stated that his mount was disappointing as it failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight and he could offer no excuse for the performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 11 BIG TWO (E310) Jumped awkwardly and then was bumped shortly after the start. Was obliged to race wide and without cover until near the 1000 Metres when it was allowed to stride forward to avoid covering additional ground. After the race, K De Melo reported that his mount lay in when placed under pressure and gave ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
