3 9 DIAMOND SOARS (G201) When questioned, Apprentice Y L Chung stated that his instructions were to go forward but after jumping only fairly and then being crowded shortly after, DIAMOND SOARS settled further back than anticipated. He added DIAMOND SOARS resented the kickback in the early stages on the All Weather Surface before being able to finish the race off well in the Home Straight.
4 5 ROBOT KNIGHT (H464) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. When questioned regarding his riding out of ROBOT KNIGHT over the final 50 Metres, L Ferraris stated that after pulling his whip through to his right hand near the 200 Metres to place his mount under pressure, ROBOT KNIGHT responded well to his urgings. He said approaching the 50 Metres when his mount came under full pressure, he then changed his whip to his left hand, but in doing so dropped his left rein for a number of strides before being able to regather it and as a result he was not able to fully test his mount for a number of strides.
5 10 ACA POWER (E144) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
6 1 FLYING DRAGON (E360) No report.
7 8 REGENT GLORY (E323) Approaching the 400 Metres raced tight between ROBOT KNIGHT and RED MAVERICK which shifted out slightly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
8 6 SHANGHAI STYLE (J093) Jumped awkwardly, bumped with COLOURFUL PRINCE and became unbalanced.
9 3 EVERYONE'S VICTORY (E177) Bumped on jumping. After the race, H Bentley reported that his mount hung out throughout the event, particularly in the Home Straight, and as a consequence proved difficult to ride out. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Before being allowed to race again, EVERYONE’S VICTORY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
10 4 COLOURFUL PRINCE (E418) Bumped on the hindquarters on jumping. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 7 SHINING FORTUNE (G252) Bumped on jumping.
12 11 RED MAVERICK (J067) Bumped at the start.
