1 12 NOBLE PURSUIT (H324) Shifted out at the start and was bumped. Raced wide and without cover from the 800 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 3 TURIN MASCOT (H165) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Making the Home Turn raced tight to the inside of HAMERON. On straightening was disappointed for clear running to the inside of HAMERON and shifted to that runner’s outside where it secured a clear run passing the 300 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 11 FLAMINGO TRILLION (H192) When questioned, K C Leung stated that near the 1300 Metres when being crossed by MAJESTIC VICTORY, his mount lay in and away from that runner, made contact with the running rail and became unbalanced. Sent for sampling post-race.
4 5 ROMANTIC LAOS (G476) No report.
5 10 ALL BEAUTY (E355) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
6 8 ESCAPE ROUTE (E273) Jumped only fairly.
7 7 ACCOLADE START (H331) No report.
8 1 HAMERON (H265) After the race, L Ferraris stated that with the early and middle stages of the event being run outside of standard, when the pace increased from the 500 Metres, HAMERON was unable to finish the race off strongly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

11 9 NICHOLSON RETURNS (E452) Raced wide and without cover from the 800 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 2 PRIME MINISTER (D288) Bumped on jumping. Held up making the Home Turn. Near the 100 Metres was held up behind ROMANTIC LAOS and was steadied for a short distance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
