1 7 COPARTNER PRANCE (H408) Shifted in after the 150 Metres and bumped DUKE WAI. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 3 DUKE WAI (C188) The Stewards considered a protest/objection lodged by K Teetan, the rider of the second placegetter DUKE WAI alleging interference passing the 150 Metres. After considering all the evidence, the Stewards found that COPARTNER PRANCE (Z Purton) shifted in after the 150 Metres and made contact with DUKE WAI, however, having regard to the minimal consequential effects of the contact and the manner in which both horses finished the race off, the Stewards overruled the protest/objection and declared weighed-in on the numbers semaphored by the Judge. Z Purton was advised to exercise more care. Sent for sampling post-race.

Before being allowed to race again, NERVOUS WITNESS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
