3 8 TOP DRAGON (J481) Bumped shortly after the start. Near the 700 Metres raced in restricted room between DARYL FLASH and CHIU CHOW SPIRIT. Approaching the 400 Metres was disappointed for clear running between YOUNG CHAMPION and CHIU CHOW SPIRIT. For a short distance near the 200 Metres was held up for clear running.
4 7 CHIU CHOW SPIRIT (H175) Jumped only fairly and shortly after the start was bumped by YOUNG CHAMPION and as a result was steadied to avoid DARYL FLASH. Approaching the 700 Metres made contact with TOP DRAGON and was taken wider when TOP DRAGON improved into a tight run between DARYL FLASH and CHIU CHOW SPIRIT. Near the 450 Metres was bumped by TOP DRAGON when it prevented TOP DRAGON from shifting out.
5 10 WINDLORD (L184) Slow to begin.
6 9 KARMA (G392) Near the 700 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from LO RIDER. Between the 350 Metres and the 100 Metres was held up for clear running.
7 11 DARYL FLASH (L168) Near the 400 Metres made contact with YOUNG CHAMPION when being shifted to the outside of SAGACIOUS LIFE.
8 3 LO RIDER (K161) Had difficulty obtaining clear running approaching the 200 Metres.
9 6 WINFIELD (K446) Jumped awkwardly. Making the first turn near the 900 Metres lay in towards the running rail and became unbalanced. L Hewitson stated that after leading the event his mount gave ground in the Home Straight and would derive a fitness benefit from today’s first up performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 5 YOUNG CHAMPION (J195) Bumped shortly after the start. Near the 400 Metres was bumped by DARYL FLASH which shifted to the outside of SAGACIOUS LIFE. K Teetan stated that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a result could not run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
WV 4 VOYAGE SAMURAI (J026) Withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore). Before being allowed to race again, VOYAGE SAMURAI will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
