2 10 AQUAMAN (K523) Jumped only fairly. Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.

4 6 PRESTIGE SUPERIOR (K383) Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
5 11 DRACO (J115) Near the 150 Metres shifted out when obtaining a run to the outside of BLUE BARON, resulting in K C Leung having to stop riding and straighten his mount. Sent for sampling post-race.
6 14 PRINCE ALEX (G307) Shortly after the start was crowded between DOUBLE BINGO and BLUE BARON, both of which shifted ground slightly.

10 2 DOUBLE BINGO (J309) Shortly after the start shifted out and made contact with PRINCE ALEX. Approaching the 1300 Metres shifted in and away from PRINCE ALEX and as a result was eased to avoid DRACO.
11 8 SILVER UP (J078) No report.
12 9 ALWAYS FLUKE (H252) Lay in in the Home Straight and near the 150 Metres was corrected by H Bentley. Jockey Bentley could offer no explanation for his mount’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
13 4 STORMY KNIGHT (L062) Jumped only fairly. L Ferraris stated that his mount was disadvantaged by racing wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
14 7 SWAGGER BRO (K089) Near the 150 Metres was checked when crowded between DRACO (K C Leung) which shifted out slightly before being corrected by its rider and ALWAYS FLUKE (H Bentley) which, when laying in, shifted in before being corrected by its rider. H Bentley was advised in similar circumstances he should exercise more care and straighten his mounts sooner than what he did on this occasion.
