2 6 SLEDGE HAMMER (N405) S Clipperton -- Slowly away, ridden to soon join the leaders, took up running on rails coming onto home bend, kicked 2L clear on straightening, unable to sustain effort and headed close to home.
3 3 PLENTY OF SPEED (P401) N Rawiller SR-/V Sluggish at start, ridden before settling about 2L off the lead in 6th when 3-wide onto first turn, became 8th on the bend and switched wider entering home straight, fought on under pressure to be nearest at finish.
4 12 INTELLECTUAL GLIDE (S124) K Teetan B Moderate start, soon recovered to within 3L of speed on rails, made steady headway round home bend to reach 2nd about 2L off the lead, unable to sustain effort in straight and swamped inside final 100 metres.

11 11 PARENTAL SPIRIT (S368) C Schofield B/H1 Broke well from the middle draw, soon taken back to last few, made no progress on the bend and in straight, never a factor.
