4 3 WALDORF (B253) K C Ng B/TT Ridden hard from inside barrier to hold prominent position on fence behind leading pair. Left slightly flat footed when pace quickened from 400m, before making good ground in final 200m.
5 1 MICKEY RICH (B151) N Callan V Commenced well and ridden up to gain prominent position before easing at 750m mark to settle midfield. Asked for effort from 400m and battled away fairly in the straight.

10 12 COURT RULER (B255) M F Poon B/TT Commenced fairly and settled on the fence in midfield position. Asked for effort from 500m to hold position in running, hung in slightly in the straight but was never a threat.
12 11 STAR SUPERIOR (V255) W M Lai B- Commenced fairly from wide barrier before ridden up to go forward but caught in three wide position. Was asked to improve from 450m but weakened out in the straight after a tough run in transit.
