Racing Incident Report

When being saddled, GOGGLES broke loose and was eventually caught in the assembly area. The horse was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon who said in his opinion was not suitable to race. Accordingly GOGGLES was withdrawn by order of the Stewards. RAINBOW AND GOLD, which was standing very awkwardly, came from the stalls badly. On jumping, DR MORE and GREENMORE came together. Approaching the 600 Metres, PRECISION, which was being ridden hard, shifted out from behind COME SEE YOU. As a consequence of this, REBEL LEADER was obliged to race somewhat wider rounding the Home Turn. CHEERS HONG KONG and COME SEE YOU were sent for a clinical veterinary examination and sampling. Following the race, both CHEERS HONG KONG and COME SEE YOU were examined by the Veterinary Officer. No abnormalities were detected. RED PEPPER and DR MORE were sent for sampling.
