Racing Incident Report

KIMBO BELL was withdrawn on raceday morning on veterinary grounds (sore left fore tendon). Before KIMBO BELL can race again, it will be required to pass an official veterinary examination. When the gates opened, RUN AND WIN bounded in the air. NASA PEARL was slowly away. Near the 1400 Metres, BORN DRAGON was unbalanced when awkward between FLYING BISHOP and NASA PEARL. Rounding the turn and in the early part of the Straight, NAMJONG SPIRIT was inclined to lay out. Almost right on the winning post, LUCKY LAD was checked when crowded for room between FLYING BISHOP which shifted in slightly and CHEEKY which shifted out away from JOYFUL SPIRIT. In view of the circumstances, no action was taken. RUN AND WIN was sent for a clinical veterinary examination and sampling. After the race, RUN AND WIN was examined by the Veterinary Officer. No abnormalities were detected. JOYFUL SPIRIT and CHEEKY were sent for sampling.
