Racing Incident Report
MISSION TYCOON was withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (swollen right front cannon). Before being allowed to race again, MISSION TYCOON will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
INSAYSHABLE began awkwardly.
Shortly after the start, HELENE CHARISMA was steadied away from the heels of HELENA BABY which was taken out by RELIABLE TEAM which got its head on the side and shifted out despite the efforts of its rider.
From an outside barrier, RIGHTEOUS DOCTRINE was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
Approaching the winning post on the first occasion, SUPER OASIS was awkwardly placed inside the heels of RELIABLE TEAM which was awkwardly placed inside BUTTERFIELD.
At the 400 Metres, COLUMBUS COUNTY was brushed by SUPER OASIS which shifted out. After this, SUPER OASIS made the Home Turn awkwardly and shifted out, resulting in COLUMBUS COUNTY racing tight to the outside of that horse.
Near the 50 Metres, SOLAR WAI WAI and INSAYSHABLE raced in restricted room inside HELENE CHARISMA which shifted to the inside of BUTTERFIELD to obtain clear running. Then approaching the finishing line, SOLAR WAI WAI raced tight inside INSAYSHABLE and passing the winning post was steadied away from the heels of that horse. Consequently SOLAR WAI WAI was not ridden out over the concluding stages.
C Y Ho (BUTTERFIELD) was spoken to regarding using the whip forward of the saddle over the concluding stages.
A veterinary inspection of SUPER OASIS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
COLUMBUS COUNTY, RELIABLE TEAM and BUTTERFIELD were sent for sampling.
