8 1 RED LION (H115) After the 700 Metres commenced to race keenly when HAPPY TOGETHER improved to its outside and as a result was steadied away from the heels of BOURBONAIRE and shifted out. After the race, Z Purton stated that, in his opinion, RED LION did not run out the 1600 Metres of today’s event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 7 BOURBONAIRE (E365) No report.
10 8 SPIRITED EXPRESS (G356) Jumped awkwardly and made contact with the left side of its barrier.
11 3 RUNNING GLORY (G010) Bumped shortly after the start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Due to the disappointing performance, RUNNING GLORY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
