7 4 BEAUTYVERSE (H075) After the race, Apprentice Y L Chung stated that with blinkers on for the first time, he was asked from the outside barrier to go forward and lead if possible. He said after obtaining the lead near the 1100 Metres BEAUTYVERSE raced keenly due to wearing blinkers for the first time and as a result set a strong pace in the middle stages.
8 8 AESTHETICISM (H289) Near the 100 Metres lay in behind BEAUTY MISSILE and was steadied. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 7 POWERFUL WINGS (G225) From the 200 Metres until passing the 100 Metres was held up behind I AM THE BOSS. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 2 I AM THE BOSS (H446) Approaching the 200 Metres ran out when being directed to the outside of FLAMINGO TRILLION to obtain clear running, resulting in its rider L Hewitson having to stop riding and straighten his mount. When being corrected, I AM THE BOSS then shifted in and was briefly positioned close to FLAMINGO TRILLION.
11 14 NOT A FEW (J109) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
12 9 I KEEP WINNING (H400) No report.
13 6 ACCOLADE START (H331) Jumped awkwardly. After the 200 Metres was steadied to avoid the heels of I AM THE BOSS which shifted in.
14 12 MARADO (E245) When questioned, A Badel stated that from a wide barrier he was given the option to ride the horse conservatively in the early stages if it did not show sufficient pace to go forward. He said with the pace of the event being run inside of standard in the early stages, he shifted his mount across behind runners, but MARADO did not travel well at any stage and failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
