2 2 BEAUTY ETERNAL (H008) Near the 950 Metres was steadied when being crossed by HEALTHY HAPPY (L Hewitson) which shifted in when not clear. L Hewitson was reprimanded. Sent for sampling post-race.

5 11 HAPPY TOGETHER (G446) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
6 10 TAJ DRAGON (H164) After travelling a short distance was inconvenienced when crowded between SWORD POINT and MONEY CATCHER. Near the 400 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when held up between HEALTHY HAPPY and BEAUTY ETERNAL. Near the 200 Metres was steadied when disappointed for clear running between HEALTHY HAPPY and SWORD POINT, both of which shifted ground, resulting in TAJ DRAGON being unable to obtain clear running until near the 150 Metres.
7 12 SUPER SUNNY SING (G319) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
8 4 SWORD POINT (G448) For a short distance after the 100 Metres raced tight to the inside of TAJ DRAGON.
9 8 HEALTHY HAPPY (D435) No report.
10 13 THE BEST PEACH (H139) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 1 RUSSIAN EMPEROR (E198) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 9 MONEY CATCHER (G171) After the 950 Metres was steadied away from BEAUTY ETERNAL. After the race, K De Melo reported that he had some concerns with the manner in which his mount finished the race off. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. As this was the second occasion that MONEY CATCHER performed in a similar manner, the performance was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, MONEY CATCHER will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination which must include additional diagnostic assessments.
13 7 ENCOUNTERED (G236) After the race, K Teetan could offer no explanation for his mount’s disappointing performance which was eased down over the concluding stages when not in a competitive position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of ENCOUNTERED was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, ENCOUNTERED will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
