3 5 CAMINO (H231) In the middle stages raced keenly. Near the 500 Metres was awkwardly placed close to JOLLY COMPANION when shifting to the outside of that runner to improve forward. Lay in after the 350 Metres and as a result became unbalanced when awkwardly placed close to JOLLY COMPANION.
4 1 JOY COMING (H149) Bumped at the start. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
5 10 JOLLY COMPANION (H454) Bumped at the start. Making the first turn was momentarily crowded by JOY COMING (Z Purton) which shifted in. Z Purton was advised to exercise more care.
6 6 VANTASTIC CHOICE (G401) No report.
7 4 RUN RUN COOL (E322) No report.
8 12 SMART LEADER (B456) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

11 11 GREAT ACHIEVER (J049) Jumped only fairly and shortly after the start was steadied when crowded by RUN RUN COOL which shifted in slightly. Near the 1000 Metres became unbalanced when crowded by CAMINO which lay in and away from RUN RUN COOL despite the efforts of its rider when racing tight to the inside of RUN RUN COOL. After the race, A Badel stated that when he placed his mount under pressure in the Home Straight, it failed to respond to his riding and raced in a disappointing manner. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
