9 ABLE ONE (CG108) O Doleuze BO Broke only fairly, allowed to relax and settle down in midfield, raced 3 wide with cover 3Ls away throughout, not really asked with average speed, eased out at 300 M and went to them easily at 200 M. Kept on for strong win.
6 LOTZATOW (CD397) C Munce V Average to begin, assumed usual spot near rear, raced 3 wide 4 to 5Ls away between horses, steadied when they slowed, tracked eventual winner on turn, lost touch when they sprinted but stuck to task well to run down all but winner.
12 VICTORY STYLE (CG120) H W Lai -- Broke with them, drove through to hold prime position 1 out 1 back, had easy run in mid-section 2Ls away from pace, similar on turn, held up until 200 M and picked up well late when clear to take 3rd place.
5 EQUATOR KID (CC134) G Schofield -- Bounced out, unable to slot in early and allowed to roll forward to race, 3 wide outside leaders, always working facing breeze 1L away, moved up with strong run and hit lead at 200 M. Unable to keep on last 100 M after hard run.
4 SIKANDER (CG080) G Mosse B Awkward to begin, pushed along to move up to spot just off midfield, raced 2 wide 4Ls away in mid-section, not suited inside runners with slow speed, eased out in straight and closed steadily to be closest at finish.
10 BETTER BOY (CD134) D Dunn -- Standard to begin, caught 3 and 4 wide at rear early, dropped to tail 2 wide 6Ls away, niggled along to make ground with job to do on turn, closed race off strongly to be closest at finish giving too great a start.
1 BUMPER BUMPER (CD025) D Whyte -- Fast into stride, showed good pace to cross to rails in early lead, raced behind leader after 200 M, enjoyed run of race in mid-section with slow speed, received dream split in straight but unable to capitalise. One-paced to line.
3 RED POWER (CD077) S Dye B/TT Broke with rest, mustered speed to press on to challenge for front, took control after 200 M, set slow tempo in front, dictated terms to turn, held 1L advantage into straight, pressured at 250 M and gave in easily. Same pace to line.
7 HONEY MONEY (CC359) K L Chui B/TT First to jump, allowed to stride forward to contest lead early, raced outside leader when unable to cross, not working hard 1L away with slow tempo, made challenge at 300 M but lacked turn of foot to be a factor.
2 FIVE GRAINS (CB280) K T Yeung -- Slow to begin, niggled along to keep spot 4 back on rails 4 to 5Ls away, used nothing in run, pushed along on turn, followed rails in straight but lacked usual finishing burst. Passed only tired horse late.
8 WEALTHY TREASURE (CC270) B Prebble -- Broke well, pressed forward to be amongst forward division, settled 3 back on fence 3Ls away, travelled fairly on turn, followed rails and held up badly at 200 M. Not fully tested thereafter.
11 ABLE KNIGHT (CE079) W M Lai H/TT Taken straight in behind, allowed to take up position on rails 6Ls away, never really looked comfortable, still rearward on turning, under hard riding in straight but made no real impression. Plodded to line.
