Racing Incident Report

After arriving on course, it was noted that the off hind plate on TEMMOKU had moved in transit. After having the plate refitted, TEMMOKU was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon who after discussing the horse's condition with the Trainer found TEMMOKU suitable to race. MASTER MAGIC stumbled at the start. At the 2200 Metres, BILLION DELIGHT was steadied when momentarily crowded between HIGH SKY and SILLERENT, both of which shifted ground. At the 2000 Metres, BILLION DELIGHT brushed the running rail after becoming unbalanced when awkwardly placed on the heels of TEMMOKU. In the early stages, BILLION DELIGHT and SILLERENT proved difficult to settle. Making the turn at the 1800 Metres, LUCKSWELL became unbalanced and shifted out abruptly after being bumped by DRAGON POWER. After this, LUCKSWELL raced wide without cover. At the 200 Metres, MASTER MAGIC was bumped by SILLERENT which improved into a narrow run between that horse and COMMON PLACE which was giving ground. After the 200 Metres, MILLENNIUM SUPREME, which was hanging out, was steadied and shifted out when disappointed for running between DIAMOND TALENTS and BON LA VIE which shifted in. When MILLENNIUM SUPREME shifted out, some inconvenience was caused to CUPID. E Saint-Martin (SILLERENT) was fined $2,000 for failing to weigh in following the race. SILLERENT was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
