Racing Incident Report
When the gates opened, GREENMORE stood flat-footed, as a consequence of this lost a lot of ground. Mr S T Wong, trainer of GREENMORE, was told before the horse can race again, it will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. HAPPY MOMENTUM missed the start slightly, was then checked rather severely when crowded between THANK HEAVENS which shifted out abruptly and MY HONOUR which on leaving the gates shifted in. Because of the circumstances, no action was taken. Approaching the 200 Metres, BEST LIGHT was steadied when crowded between MY HONOUR and INDUSTRIAL PRIDE which shifted out after being brushed by HUANGDI which in turn was taken out by LUCKY SIX which shifted out in an endeavour to find running. For some distance approaching the 100 Metres, HAPPY MOMENTUM was held up for running. About 100 Metres out, HAPPY MOMENTUM was shifted out abruptly to find running and go forward. When HAPPY MOMENTUM shifted ground, some inconvenience was caused to LUCKY SIX. MY HONOUR was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing. After the race, it was reported that LUCKY SIX was bleeding from both nostrils.
