Racing Incident Report
On jumping, APRIL HARE and TABBRIS came together. SUPER AND SPICE missed the start slightly, then over about the last 300 Metres was not able to obtain clear running. As a consequence of this, the horse was not properly tested out. About the 800 Metres, SMART WIN was steadied and shifted in when unable to hold its position between FORTUNE MAPLE and GOOD TIME FOR ALL. D Whyte (PROFIT DAY) said near the 700 Metres his mount was bumped by WAIALAE WIN on its inside. He went on to say after this PROFIT DAY hung out badly. PROFIT DAY and GRAND STAR were sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing. After the race, LEGEND OF WEI HAI collapsed and died.
