Racing Incident Report
NO COMPROMISE began awkwardly and hit the inside of its barrier. FORTUNE LAD was slow to begin. On jumping, CENDAMY got its head up, shifted out and bumped with VILLAGER which itself shifted in. Shortly after the start, VILLAGER, which was taken out further by CENDAMY, was checked to avoid the heels of GOLDEN PROMISE which got its head on the side and shifted in. No action was taken. From a wide gate, GOOD TIME FOR ALL was obliged to race wide and without cover throughout. Making the turn at the 600 Metres, LIGHTNING BOLT, DO IT WELL and WAH YAN MASCOT brushed the running rail. Making the Home Turn, DO IT WELL was crowded for room inside ETERNAL START. After the 400 Metres, WAH YAN MASCOT was checked when crowded for room by FORTUNE LAD which got its head on the side and hung in. Near the 100 Metres, DO IT WELL was steadied when momentarily disappointed for running between ETERNAL START and BACK SEAT DRIVER which when giving ground shifted out. VILLAGER was sent for a clinical veterinary examination and sampling. After the race, VILLAGER was examined by the Veterinary Officer. No significant findings were made. GOLDEN PROMISE an LIGHTNING BOLT were sent for sampling. After the race, it was noted that GOLDEN PROMISE had lost its left front plate.
