Racing Incident Report

FREEBIRD was difficult to load. Before being allowed to race again, FREEBIRD will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. After the entire field had been boxed, JOYFUL SPIRIT became fractious, reared and dislodged W C Marwing, its rider. W C Marwing was not injured. After being boxed, LUCKY STALLION also became fractious and momentarily got down behind. LUCKY STALLION, which was to be ridden quietly today from a wide gate, began awkwardly, resulting in F Coetzee, its rider, becoming unbalanced. TOM'S FIRST and THUNDER STORM were slow to begin. ASIA RISING began awkwardly and got its head up. ONE MORE ROUND began awkwardly. In the early stages, ASIA RISING proved difficult to settle and on a number of occasions got its head up. For a short distance after the 100 Metres, FLORAL DYNAMITE got its head on the side and shifted out. ONE MORE ROUND was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. After the race, ONE MORE ROUND was examined by the Veterinary Officer. No significant findings were made. CHIU CHOW BROTHER and FLORAL DYNAMITE were sent for sampling.
