Racing Incident Report

MILLENNIUM SUPREME began awkwardly and shifted out. FIRST KNIGHT began awkwardly and bumped the outside gate of its stall. Shortly after the start, DANSOLDE was steadied when crowded for room between ALL OUR WAY which shifted in slightly and CITY GLORY which was carried out by MAVERICK. No action was taken. In the early stages, KINGSTON GLORY proved very difficult to settle and on a number of occasions got its head up, near the 800 Metres was steadied away from the heels of ALL OUR WAY and shifted out, causing crowding on its outside to MYTHIC STEED and DONGGUAN VICTORY which as a result were steadied. In the middle stages, MAVERICK hung out, then in the Straight hung in. For a considerable distance after straightening, MILLENNIUM SUPREME was held up and unable to improve between ALL OUR WAY and CITY GLORY. At the 400 Metres, SMARTY was hampered and carried wider by GOLD MASTER which at this time shifted to the outside of BRAINIEST into clear running. FIRST KNIGHT, which was following GOLD MASTER, was held up and unable to improve at this time. For a considerable distance after the 300 Metres, DANSOLDE was held up and unable to improve when racing behind BRAINIEST which was giving ground. Over the concluding stages, DANSOLDE shifted wider on the track. KINGSTON GLORY was sent for an official veterinary inspection. After the race, KINGSTON GLORY was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said there were no significant findings other than he noted the horse had lost the right hind plate. ACE KING, GOLD MASTER and FIRST KNIGHT were sent for sampling.
