Racing Incident Report
TACTIC KING began awkwardly and was then bumped by SUPER CHARGE which shifted out. DREAMS COME TRUE, which was standing badly and leaning against the outside gate of its stall, began awkwardly, then from a wide barrier shifted across behind runners. At the 900 Metres, SPEEDING MOLLY was steadied away from the heels of TACTIC KING which shifted out slightly. After the 400 Metres, AMPLE GAINS was checked and shifted out when disappointed for running between BRILLIANT FLASH which shifted out slightly away from MR COOL and TACTIC KING (S Sanders) which shifted in slightly. S Sanders was reprimanded and advised to exercise greater care. For some distance after the 400 Metres, DREAMS COME TRUE was steadied when placed close to the heels of ELFHELM. At the 300 Metres, BRILLIANT FLASH was steadied when crowded for room between TACTIC KING and MR COOL which was giving ground. Then near the 200 Metres, BRILLIANT FLASH shifted out and was steadied away from the heels of TACTIC KING. Also at the 300 Metres, LUCKY LAD, which was having difficulty obtaining clear running behind ELEGANT KING PRAWN and GOLD STRIKER, was shifted out. After the 200 Metres, LUCKY LAD was steadied when disappointed for running between CELEBRATION and GOLD STRIKER which shifted out slightly. At the 100 Metres, SPEEDING MOLLY and TACTIC KING bumped as a result of TACTIC KING being carried out by ELFHELM which was shifting to the outside of SUPER CHARGE to obtain clear running. Over the concluding stages, CELEBRATION and GOLD STRIKER raced tight. Just prior to the winning post, ELFHELM was steadied away from the heels of SUPER CHARGE. Throughout the race, CELEBRATION raced wide and without cover. The performance of MR COOL, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, MR COOL will have to perform competitively in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. BOLD WIN, GOLD STRIKER and CELEBRATION were sent for sampling.
