Racing Incident Report
When the gates opened, DISGUISE stumbled and almost fell. DASHING WINNER began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of OSCAR STAR, causing both horses to become unbalanced and lose ground. QI'S PET was slow to begin. After the 1200 Metres, DISGUISE, which was proving difficult to settle, was steadied away from the heels of QI'S PET. Approaching the 1000 Metres, DASHING WINNER, which was proving difficult to settle, got its head up when close to the heels of QI'S PET. After this, DASHING WINNER hung out and continued to do so until after straightening. Near the 800 Metres, OSCAR STAR and VITAL PATROL were steadied when awkwardly placed between DISGUISE which was coming back away from the heels of QI'S PET and MAGIC TOUCH which at this time shifted in slightly. Prior to straightening, ARMADA got its head on the side, shifted out and bumped SPINNING CITY. Throughout the race, LUCKY WINNER and HANDBAG PREMIER raced wide and without cover. DISGUISE was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of DISGUISE after the race did not show any significant findings. SUPREME GAINS, ARMADA and SPINNING CITY were sent for sampling.
