Racing Incident Report
PERFECT FEELING was slow to begin. STAY YOUNG began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped SUNBELL. SIR GALAHAD began awkwardly and bumped the inside gate of its stall. Near the 1400 Metres, SIR GALAHAD was steadied when crowded for room inside DASHING THUNDER which was carried in by STAY YOUNG which in turn was carried in by SUNBELL which initially shifted in and then was carried in further by FLYING BISHOP. No action was taken. Approaching the 1400 Metres, INFINITE DELIGHT, which was racing ungenerously and getting its head up, was steadied away from the heels of SUPREME GAINS which shifted in. Making the Home Turn, TOM'S SIX hung out. For some distance after straightening, DASHING THUNDER, which was hanging in, had difficulty obtaining clear running. At the 350 Metres, SIR GALAHAD was bumped by GOODY which shifted out after being held up and unable to obtain clear running in the early part of the Straight. At the 200 Metres, PERFECT FEELING, which was closing the race off fairly, was momentarily steadied when improving between CLASSA WIN and SUNBELL. Over the concluding stages, SUPREME GAINS and BULLISH CASH raced tight due to BULLISH CASH shifting in. Near the 100 Metres, Apprentice K L Chui (GOODY) dropped his whip. As this was the third occasion during today's racemeeting that Apprentice Chui had dropped his whip, he was told to take measures to avoid a repetition. Throughout the race, FLYING BISHOP travelled wide and without cover. SIR GALAHAD was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of SIR GALAHAD after the race did not show any significant findings. SUPREME GAINS and BULLISH CASH were sent for sampling.
