Racing Incident Report

WINBO was slow to begin. At the 200 Metres, OPERATION SECRET was checked severely when crowded for room between WINBO which shifted out and LUMINOUS which when endeavouring to improve towards the inside of SAVUTE was checked and shifted in away from the heels of SAVUTE which shifted in slightly. AMBITIOUS OWNER, which was following, was checked in consequence. As there were several contributing circumstances, no action was taken. At the 150 Metres, LUMINOUS became unbalanced and was steadied when disappointed for running between WINBO and SAVUTE. Also at the 150 Metres, BE MY SONG, which was commencing to give ground, was steadied when crowded for room inside WINBO which shifted in slightly. No action was taken. Throughout the race, WIN A DOZEN travelled wide and without cover. M Nunes (WELL NOTED) said he had been instructed to ride his mount from a wide barrier in a rearward position. He said in its recent starts when being ridden forward, WELL NOTED had disappointed in the manner in which it had been finishing its races off. He said today after being ridden quietly WELL NOTED closed the race off well. ALL TIME HIGH was sent for an official veterinary inspection and sampling. OPERATION SECRET, LUMINOUS and BE MY SONG were sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of ALL TIME HIGH and BE MY SONG after the race did not show any significant findings. After the race, OPERATION SECRET was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said the horse had a continuous displacement of the soft palate. Also after the race, LUMINOUS was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said the horse had sustained a wound to the inside of its left front heel. NAMJONG FIGHTERS and ENCHANTED were sent for sampling.
