Racing Incident Report

Shortly after the start, SUPER POWER and ROCKALOT were crowded for room inside OCTAGONAL CANYON (D Whyte) which when being ridden along to go forward shifted in. D Whyte was severely reprimanded and told in similar circumstances he would be expected to stop riding and straighten his mount sooner than he did on this occasion. Apprentice K C Leung (TALE OF FRIENDSHIP) dropped his whip at the 450 Metres. For a considerable distance after straightening, DECENT FELLOW had difficulty obtaining clear running and near the 150 Metres shifted out and made contact with OCTAGONAL CANYON which in the Straight hung in. TALE OF FRIENDSHIP was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of TALE OF FRIENDSHIP after the race did not show any significant findings. DECENT FELLOW, ROCKALOT and ALL FOR ONE were sent for sampling.
