Racing Incident Report

Prior to the gates being released, LAGO EXPRESS became very fractious and as the start was effected lifted its front feet off the ground and consequently lost a considerable amount of ground. Before being allowed to race again, LAGO EXPRESS will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial. As the start was effected, BILLION GAINS got its head down, then bounded in the air and consequently lost a considerable amount of ground. Then making the first turn, BILLION GAINS got its head on the side and ran out across the heels of DOUBLE LUCK and as a result was severely checked. In this incident, LAGO EXPRESS was taken wider. Before being allowed to race again, BILLION GAINS will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial around a bend. FAST FORWARD shifted in at the start and bumped POCKET ROCKETS. Shortly after the start, SMART TOUCH was momentarily crowded for room between SUPER PLUS and GLENEALY STAR which shifted out. From a wide barrier, DOUBLE LUCK was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. After the 700 Metres, PALEPALE was left racing wide and without cover. Making the turn near the 550 Metres, SMART TOUCH got its head on the side and shifted out towards the heels of POCKET ROCKETS. DEPOSER got its head on the side and lay out after the 500 Metres. Near the 250 Metres, FAST FORWARD raced in restricted room between PALEPALE and DOUBLE LUCK which shifted out to obtain clear running. SUPER PLUS and DANEWIN WINNING were sent for sampling.
