Racing Incident Report

SUPER STRIKE was crowded for room at the start between HEI HEI POSH and TIPPERARY DAVOR, both of which shifted ground.
From the outside barrier, GLORY OF INDIA was taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
After the 1500 Metres, HAPPY SCORE got its head up for a considerable distance when proving difficult to settle.
Near the 1300 Metres, HAPPY SCORE, which was continuing to prove very difficult to settle, improved into tight running inside MR MARFACH. A short distance after this, HAPPY SCORE was checked when MR MARFACH shifted in slightly. As the Stewards were of the opinion that this incident was attributable to the racing manners of HAPPY SCORE, no further action was taken.
Passing the 1100 Metres, MR MARFACH got its head on the side and shifted out when awkwardly placed close to the heels of HEI HEI POSH.
Approaching the 1000 Metres, HAPPY SCORE continued to get its head up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of GOOD THINKER. Then passing the 1000 Metres, HAPPY SCORE was checked away from the heels of GOOD THINKER and in doing so shifted out, resulting in MR MARFACH being taken wider. After this, HAPPY SCORE continued to over-race and approaching the 800 Metres was shifted out away from the heels of MR MARFACH and allowed to stride forward.
After the 200 Metres, HEI HEI POSH got its head on the side and shifted out and near the 150 Metres brushed GOOD THINKER.
After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that SUPER STRIKE had lost its left hind plate.
A veterinary inspection of CLEMENT SPIRIT and MR MARFACH after the race did not show any significant findings.
MR MARFACH, SUPER STRIKE and HEI HEI POSH were sent for sampling.
