Racing Incident Report

HONG KONG DANCER was slow to begin.
Shortly after the start, MR GINGER raced tight between FOREVER ELATION and FIGHTER CLASS, both of which shifted ground.
Approaching and rounding the Home Turn, MR GINGER and FIGHTER CLASS raced tight as MR GINGER shifted out from behind HAPPY SUMMER.
Rounding the Home Turn, MAC ROW got its head on the side and hung out.
At the 400 Metres, HONG KONG DANCER was shifted in away from the heels of FOREVER ELATION.
After the 200 Metres, SUPREME FALCON got its head on the side and lay in under pressure.
When questioned, Apprentice C Y Lui advised that he had been asked, from barrier 13, to ride LOMBARDI quietly rather than making use of the horse to cross the field in the early stages. He said however that LOMBARDI jumped very well and he was reluctant to overly restrain the horse to ride it towards the rear. He said he ensured that LOMBARDI remained balanced and was able to maintain a position in front of midfield but three wide without cover. He said LOMBARDI finished off the race well today compared to some of its recent starts.
W C Marwing stated that after being slow to begin and then being steadied away from the heels of SUPREME FALCON which shifted in, MIGHTY K did not stretch out at any stage and never travelled during the race. He said the horse did not feel sore, however, its action was not fluent and it did not respond to his riding at any stage of the race. A veterinary inspection of MIGHTY K immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Before being allowed to race again, MIGHTY K will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that SUPER LIFELINE had lost its right front plate.
A veterinary inspection of FOREVER ELATION and JUN JU immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SUPER LIFELINE and SUPREME FALCON were sent for sampling.
