Racing Incident Report

After being loaded into the barriers, SO FAST became fractious and reared on a number of occasions. Before being allowed to race again, SO FAST will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial.
As the start was effected, FIGHT HERO reared and got its left front leg over into the adjourning stall, resulting in the horse taking no part in the race. Having regard to FIGHT HERO’s previous record in respect of its barrier manners, the Stewards ruled that the horse must undergo a series of not less than three consecutive barrier trials before being allowed to race again.
GORGEOUS KING was crowded for room on jumping between MYTHICAL EMPEROR and ARCHIPPUS which shifted out. After this, GORGEOUS KING was shifted across behind runners.
HERO LOOK shifted out at the start and bumped the hindquarters of HEALTHY JOYFUL which became unbalanced.
From a wide barrier, WHITE MAGIC was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Approaching the 800 Metres, MY DARLING was awkwardly placed close to the heels of MARVEL TRIBE.
Passing the 400 Metres, HEALTHY JOYFUL shifted out away from the heels of SOLAR HEI HEI.
Near the 350 Metres, LUCKY DOUBLE EIGHT was shifted in away from the heels of ARCHIPPUS to obtain clear running.
For some distance passing the 200 Metres, GORGEOUS KING was held up for clear running and had to be steadied when unable to shift out from behind MARVEL TRIBE due to WHITE MAGIC racing to its outside.
Passing the 50 Metres, MARVEL TRIBE momentarily raced in restricted room inside WHITE MAGIC which got its head on the side and shifted in.
Close to the finishing line, HEALTHY JOYFUL shifted in towards SOLAR HEI HEI, resulting in its rider having to correct HEALTHY JOYFUL.
Throughout the race, ARCHIPPUS travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground.
JOLLY BANNER and MY DARLING were sent for sampling.
