Racing Incident Report

SHINING ACE was bumped on jumping by TANG FLEMING which shifted out.
PLANET STAR shifted out at the start and bumped STARLIGHT.
JING JING WIN was crowded for room on jumping between DIVINE UNICORN and COMFORT LIFE which shifted out. In this incident, JING JING WIN bumped the hindquarters of DIVINE UNICORN which then got its head on the side and shifted in abruptly despite the efforts of its rider, resulting in JING JING WIN being checked when crowded onto the hindquarters of COMFORT LIFE. After this, DIVINE UNICORN was steadied to obtain cover.
From the outside barrier, FAIRY TWINS was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After the 900 Metres, BABY travelled keenly when being steadied to obtain cover behind SHINING ACE and near the 850 Metres was checked away from the heels of SHINING ACE. THE RUNNER, which was following BABY and also travelling keenly, got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of that horse in consequence passing the 800 Metres.
When questioned regarding the performance of HELLO BEAUTY, J Moreira stated that it was anticipated that tonight’s race would be run at a good tempo and that this may offer the opportunity for the field to open up which may give HELLO BEAUTY the opportunity to obtain a position behind the speed from the wide barrier. He said HELLO BEAUTY began only fairly and a number of runners in the early stages had already established a margin over HELLO BEAUTY, therefore he did not believe it was still available for him to ride HELLO BEAUTY forward as it may have left the horse racing very wide. He said he then attempted to steady HELLO BEAUTY and obtain a midfield position. He said near the 1100 Metres a number of runners to the inside of HELLO BEAUTY maintained their positions and consequently he had to steady HELLO BEAUTY to the rear of the field to obtain cover. He added HELLO BEAUTY travelled satisfactorily in the middle stages and in the Straight finished off the race satisfactorily given the circumstances. A veterinary inspection of HELLO BEAUTY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SHINING ACE, BABY and LOBO’S LEGEND were sent for sampling.
<31/10/2019 Additional Veterinary Report>The Veterinary Surgeon reported that JING JING WIN was lame in its left front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, JING JING WIN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
